Youth Transition Program

The Youth Transition Program (YTP) prepares students with disabilities for employment or career-related postsecondary education through comprehensive pre-employment transition activities and supports.

YTP serves students who require additional support beyond general or special education services to achieve their secondary and postsecondary employment as well as their education goals.  Students may face additional challenges such as poor academic skills, limited social and independent living skills, negative job experiences, and low family involvement or support.
